I generally avoid buying duplicate CD/DVDs so net is ruled out.. I can suggest a few to you from the ones I like most.. Dosti, Raja aur Rank (esp. for the songs.. and tu kitani achchhi hai.. that maa song in particular.. its technicolor though not BW) and Kanoon.. more to follow later

I find that R in my first year of the blog and now S in the second year have played some significant role.. would it be in the third year.. I shall have to wait for that for a long time..

I do not know how many of you are conversant with reading Hindi.. I do have a serious thought in using mostly Hindi.. I did have such ideas earlier too.. but at that point of time.. I found that the ones I knew even Indians amongst them (Kishore and Reshmi and friends from south) found it all too diffciult to find some ways to read.. and the whole exercise had been called off before it could really take off..

Bhaai, I am here first because of you then for others yet today if I am writing to you at the end of this post.. I want to share the feelings of Swami Vivekanand at the International conference..

Swami Vivekanand had tough times at world religion conference at Chicago.. he did look like a fakir.. he did have to undergo several tests of patience and perseverance..

During the conference Shrimad Bhagvat Gita was pushed down to the bottom of the rack of religious scriptures that were representing different religions.. when his turn came to speak.. he said Shrimad Bhagvat Geeta was at the root of all religions.. it lend support to the rest of the scriptures of the world.. a negative has been converted into a sure shot success.. and everyone in the conference hall applauded him for so long that he had to wait.. I do not know the exact words.. if someone is interested they can dig that out from net.. but in essence he said that Hindu religion provided the foundation for rest of the religions to build upon..

So brother, you are the fondation stone of this blog or this blogosphere.. you take everything positive or negative in your stride like a true champion.. I salute thee for your commendable acts away from the silver screen.. you may not win any awards for being here but I am convinced that brother you are above any kind of awards and rewards for that matter..

How is that! where did you pick these couplets from Meena Kumari ji.. I had tried long back I could not get.. I think I can again try today.. and If I am not able to locate to tumhaari sharan mei aata hoon.. ( I did just now found her at Urdu poetry..)

Boss.. Meena Kumari le liye mere dil mei utani hi jagah hai jitani brother ke liye.. (utani hi not in the sense of only but in the sense of as much as..) I know you did not have to be explained of it.. but some others who may not understand and try to do literal translation may think otherwise..

I loved the couplets and loved the translation too.. How much I wished that brother had acted opposite her.. I had only recently seen her Yahudi, Dil Diya Dard Liya and Ek Hi Rasta.. she is on top among the collection of DVD/VCDs of female actors in my collection..

quite a few years back in my attempt to clean the dust from VCD of Pakeezah I had used the cotton dipped in acetone.. being a chemist I did not know it would spoil the disc.. mai bas roya hi nahi.. I have not yet purchased the DVD of Pakeezah yet after that incident..

He has been blessed with some undue attention.. it is just unbeleivable that some like Shankar wish to express respect.. (yaar zinda rahane doge ya nahi..)

I don't I know Ziibbu( Your hamnaam), Dr. Anshu and even Manoj Kumar (not of Upkar and Shaheed fame.. but the best student of ABSQ !) would all be knowing just too much not only about you but also the rest of the world.. and rest of Hindi Cinema...

Yet If I could admit of some of my undoings it is natural.. BY naming few hundreds and forgetting the other hundreds whom I know as I sometime come across some beautiful posts but is that always possible to be able to remember all the names.. No, I don't maintain a database and maybe if I have to use these names all over again, I would rather prefer not to copy paste.. I do not consider that as spontaneous.. It does not reflect my thinking.. I can only write of what I have been thinking.. Therefore if anyone ascribes or tries to find the order in naming he would not find any order may be except the two most important persons AB (you brother) and GB ( Gisele is at the end- my longtime American author friend- par lagata hai aaj kal katti chal rahi hai.. nahi bhaai.. darasal kissa aisa hai ki mere paas usko DhaaDhas bandhaane ke liye paryaapt shabd nahi hain..

I think I can openly say here that I love some of the guys the most.. first and foremost there is an actor from Hindi Cinema.. who probably is the owner of the blog.. if you are looking for some hints.. Sanjith, Shankar and Deepak (Taunk to be precise) have all been good for me.. and Manoj, Kabeer and A to Z (Amitabh Ziibbu) too find lions share of this love.. I am sorry if I have missed some important ones..

Again, I was thinking to keep it straight and simple.. par kyaa karun.. aap logon ka naam jubaan par apane aap chala aata hai to mera kya kasoor hai..
