You have been showing yjay all your energies are not cornered around acting skills alone.. you have reserved good amount for your excellent writing skills.. it gives me a great pleasure to read the long detailed accounts from you.. and you obliged with an extremely exciting piece on reaching Mumbai from Dubai..

I would have loved to praise the young man Virat Kohli yesterday.. better late than never.. here is a sensible young cricketer who has graduated well from his teens into sheens.. does that makes sense the phrase.. I would not know.. I wanted to say that he has most easily jumped into manhood from childhood.. his knock of whatever I saw reminded me of how cricket is to be played even in the shortest verson.. working out singles, converting bad deliveries into boundaries. and taking care that you are not carried away into thinking that you are Sehwag..

Well done Virat.. had been championing the cause for the inclusion of all-rounders and with your fielding skills and ability to bowl when needed does put you into that bracket.. it is a different story that nether Dhoni nor Sehwag has given it a thought that you know how to use your bowling arm.. that is all right.. he will be tested soon on that count too in front of his home crowd..

Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli were going neck to neck and the way they were playing it was only a matter of academic interest who scores his century first.. here it seems Gambhit helped him register his century before him.. the gesture to hand over his man of the match award to the young colleague who had essayed his first (maiden) hundred in international cricket was a very humanly move.. Hats off to you Gautam (Buddha) Gambhir.. you have certain calmness and confidence that every cricketer world wide would love to have.. you ake a perfect foil to Swashbbuckling Viru..

I had yesterday named two teams for India and would love that it does happen sooner than later..

Am I forgetting some others like I have always been.. not my fault blame it on my being 50.. I have a reason to forget 50 things in 50 seconds.. 50 of those can safely add their names to this list.. Joshua David for one and Dorothy Mdigan for another..

I think some of you would not know her.. i shall tell more about her when I am actually able to address her.. I have not been able to write to her with open heart after the death of her 20 year old son on 15th July this year.. I feel like crying but still can't try to say a few words to her.. someone could help me break the ice.. She is the biggest fan of Brother much much bigger than AZ could think of.. no, no, I am not trying to tease him.. I know he is a big enough fan.. it only shows how big a fan she could be..
Love you Gisele even If I am not able to send messages across.. Love you from the core of my heart.. Love you for being what you are.. Love you as much as one human being can love another.. and to say the truth I love you more than I love brother Amitabh ( Sorry brotehr! for telling the truth, Tis true but strange for strange is not always the truth..)

Dear Brother

So there we are at last.. at the heights.. with some of these pictures I tend to equate your heights in performances over these 40 years that we have been knowing you..

I have lot of scribbling to be shared .. par pahle kuchh mitha ho jaaye.. arrey bhai Auro paas jo ho gaya hai.. Vaise Auro to 5th December ko hi pass ho gaya thaa... maine bhi uski copy jaanchi thee.. he had scored 10 out of 10.. much ahead of the rest of those who took the exam..

Lets break here and take a route to Hindi and surprisingly poetry.. no, no, not poetry but thoughts in poverty.. I can't think in English so I feel my poetry would sound like poverty.. Lets first have what may not be liked as much.. and more so for the fact that I won't have to leave this post and switch over to invoking Hindi font.. (Don’t you laugh Valorie! I am not Adams but an Eve's son.. so says allegory..)

I know no bounds
I live unbound
to discover and define
the life that we found!

The guy next door
is my friend for sure!

Oh Brother!

You were quite quick to address us back once you realised there did exist some technical glitch and your understanding of the jargon.. it bemuses when you say ... but the fact of the matter is that I know damn all about all this ..

coool brother pretty cool.. I know what you wanted to convey.. despite all your knowledge this idiotic machine fails to take requests from you or fails to abide by your sense of urgency.. hopefully the guy who comes to help would be able to put the pictures there as and when he comes to your rescue.. we can wait..

aur kya chal raha hai Dubai mei bhaai.. vahan kahan pahunch gaye phir se.. I think you were there very recently at DIFF if I am not wrong.. No, no, I am not questioning you.. maine to aise hi poochh liya dubai kya aap jahan jee chahe aao-jaao.. hum logon ki connectivity barkaraar hai to Dubai ya Hawaai se hamen kahaan inkaar hai..

I can only feel that you are enjoying life after the grerat success of Paa.. hope Abhishek too gets a good acknowledgement for his role as Amol Arte.. maine to use kaafi kam number diye thhey... yet he was at his best better than Guru and Bunty-Babli.. How is he doing.. mujhse naraaz to nahi hai na.. us din (28th November ko) jab achanak yeh dono mere saamane kahde thhey kuchh soojha hi nahi ki inase kya kahoon.. lagbhag hakka-bakka sa bas dekhata hi rah gaya thha.. chalo khair.. give him my love.. I hope his TV avtar would be as sensational as what you had in your first TV appearance.. All the best to him and to Aishwarya too.. did she give those copies of the two poems (28th November, agan) I had submitted to her.. Kavi Ka samman and pranay-prasingini.. nahi dee to koi baat nahi.. mujhe aaj bhi yah viswaas nahi ho raha hai ki I was there at Bachchan Sandhya..

Kal ki kya taiyaari hai.. I mean kal kise jita rahe ho.. yeh Sehwag ne Kumar ko kyon nahi khilaya.. I did not like it.. he has to be roped in tom. for sure.. vaise to agar Irfan bhi andat aa jaaye to kya buraai hai.. vaise Lanka ki team achchha khel rahi hai agar jayasuriya fit hai to uska khelana to tay baat hai.. he is still a force to reckon at 40 years of age.. bhaai.. Karthik ke behaviour se bhi main khush nahi hoon.. maana he has to reinforce his chances by playing good cricekt but having denied Sachin his 46th ODI hundred is criminal so to say..

Kal baat karate hain.. This Sanjith, here on the blog is also deeply interested in cricket.. I hope he gets to read this post.. and Tumpa Bon.. thinks that every time I am not writing here I must be busy with cricket.. arrey bhai.. aur bhi gham hain zamane mei cricket ke alava.. I have spent quite some time with Buddha Aur Naach Ghar.. Can I get a copy of some of the other poems.. scan karke upload kar sakate ho.. mujhe kyaa karun smvedana lekar tumhaari.. aur akelpan ka bal pahchaan.. chahiye thee.. dekh lo.. agar possible ho tabhi karana agar jhanjhat lage to koi baat nahi.. I will look for other avenues..

Lunch ke liye aayaa thaa.. aloo-matar ki sabzi aur parathe hai.. khaoo to bataao.. ek plate aapke liye bhi lagaa leta hoon.. aaj ghar par akela hi hoon.. kyaa aloo-methi chaahiye thhee.. bhai.. phir to aapko wait karana padega..

haan, ek naya kamara office mei kal hi mila hai.. bada hai.. kaafi spacious bhi hai.. abhi internet connectivity baaki hai.. isliye puraani jagah se hi kaam kar raha hoon.. theek hai phir milte hain.. Dubai se Mumbai kab aa rahe ho..

As I have just finished reading the entire post only now.. should I congratulate you over such a massive piece on entertainement and its future and values and its whole caricature.. I don;t know if that word could be used to describe the theses on the subject..

I would just say that entertainment in coming years may achieve many forms as edutainment besides infotainemt.. naraators and actors would always be required.. they would always be a constant component of the story of entertainment..

An every time we would discuss entertainment and some of its associated figures we would always be reminded of you that is some sort of immortality that comes to you.. how long it lasts can not be known.. Gurudev lives even today so does Vivekanand the latter may not have been entertainer in the real sense of the word but in its extended extension..

There would always be reasons to live in the past in every present.. the human tendency is governed by its remembering of its past and its evaluating its future.. what you have achieved may have appeared a bit dry to few.. to me as well when did not have as much time in the day.. it does hold significant value.. even if it is derived from other sources.. a compilation that is made available and accessible will always hold value and command significance.. what I found that what you discussed and debated had some very close connectivity to your personal self as well..

The cinema will always have its entertainment value even if it assumes other roles too.. recreation of an individual human being is always going to remain an important ingredient of the society for many more years.. that we learn from the past.. there were entertainers all around deep into the history and by the same analogy there would be entertainers all over in the future of mankind and humanity.. The recreation if it could also bask in some sort of social and moral suppositions in its fold should definitely be a welcome move..

I think I would read this post one more time to assimilate its essence for my own good use as well.. some of the findings that have been discussed and presented hold true not only for entertanment alone but for rest of professions as well..

I get a feeling that I did get to read something very essential to our existence and living.. good work.. I have to loo up the links as well.. as and when I get time..

Post script: That you could speak like Auro without the mask on.. what a commendale feat sir.. and how could you enjoy the cricket like rest of us.. when you reacted the way you reacted.. you appeared as knoweldgeable of cricket as any one of us who feel to be prod of our association with the game.. yet I would say that you chose the right format to make an appearance.. do you also plan to own a team was not answered.. or I missed that.. I would not mind working for such a team in any capacity other than a player.. you would not want a 50 year old to be in the playing side.. there are many aspects of cricket that i feel deserve a good human angle like the one you described when asked about so many wides.. I a really very-very impressed and I do not try to impress upon you that you get impressed by my being impressed.. many cricket lovers would have loved your short stay at the extra-cover.. it was a good act..

Have a great time in Dubai.. at DIFF.. to be more accurate.. to receive recognition must have by now become a second way of life.. recognition of your efforts over the years.. recognition for creativity.. recognition for entertainer numero uno.. recoginition for being Amitabh Bachchan.. recognition by India.. recognition by France, England and now Dubai and several other countries.. recognition for Hindi Cinema world over.. recognition by your EF should be a matter not as important as some others.. yet I Abhaya Sharma.. member or could I use one of the senior EF.. not merely by age but also by presence here for a long duration want to say this..

Brother, little did we expect that one day we would be so close to you through this medium.. little did I (as a first person) realise that I would be fortunate enough to have spend three hours under the same roof at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.. Little did we (Amrit and Savita join) thought that PAA would be such a great movie.. Little did we all (the EF) had ever beleived that we would be on a daily meeting exercise with you.. your time management skills must be a lesson to the management curriculum on the subject.. in a nutshell.. we are blessed to be with you on this short journey of life.. short but filled with joy and much that makes life worth living.. we learn from you each day.. we almost have created a second world for ourselves.. however virtual it may appear to naive it is real in every sense of the word..

I must add hurriedly that there could not have been a better utilization of the new medium in Internet by me other than being able to connect to you at will.. I know I felt let down by my own acts in not waiting a little longer at the green room and giving up on the lifetime opportunity to be able to see you from a hand shaking distance.. it was not to be.. it was not the time when I should have disturbed you .. knowing well how many bigwigs might not have got a chance to say simply hello to you that night or the other night at the premier of PAA.. no, no, I did not appear for PAA's premier.. I could not..

PAA everyone here on the EF must see atleast once and if possible in theater alone.. no, no, I am not advertising the film I am only offering a suggestion.. I am only here to remind you that one must not miss the opportunity to meet 13 year old Auro.. that one must not miss a great movie of modern times.. brother is a part of it or rather a central character is only a secondary fact... primarily it is a great movie..
